I just noticed under the “Directions” fine print on the back of my Olay anti-aging moisturizer: “Apply evenly on clean face. Children under six months of age: consult a doctor.”

Why in the world would you put anti-aging moisturizer on your six month old?! And why would any parent be so adamant that their infant needs anti-aging cream that they would go and consult a doctor? Or do the directions mean that the children are expected to go and consult the doctor themselves? It's not very clear, but it is very unsettling.

	.blessed How remarkable that the beautiful girls in my small group are the ones ministering to me and the ones exhibiting hearts of compassion, discipline, ministry, refinement, and joy. I often feel so humbled and inspired by their demonstrations of Christlikeness. How blessed I am to learn from these wonderful, Godly young women this year. =)

Earlier this week, I walked into a classroom and noticed a puddle of dried coffee in the back corner. An upended coffee cup lay nearby. And a set of coffee-covered footprints led towards the bathroom. I laughed to myself with a sort of inner satisfaction.

Monday night, Tiff dreamed that I got into a car accident. I dreamed that I got pregnant. The following night, I dreamed I bought a hat. It was a considerably less stressful night for me.

Last Friday, I woke up from a nap and went out into the living room, where Tiff was sitting in the darkness, working on arts and crafts. I inquired as to why she had not bothered to turn on any lights. I was then informed that the lights weren't working in our living room and kitchen. And only one outlet in our living room was still functioning. We have since been living in sober semi-darkness, counting cords to determine the best use of our single power strip. "Shall I cut off my laptop's power supply... or the turtle's oxygen supply...?" (unplugs cord leading to turtle tank)

Today in my upper-div Communications course, our professor was discussing dispensationalism, fundamentalism, eschatology, pre-trib, pre-mill.... And to my horror and fascination, I hardly knew what she was talking about. She turned to us from the blackboard where she had drawn a timeline of kingdom history: "You are all somewhat familiar with the tribulation, no?" The class stared at her in gaping silence. I declared, "It's when really bad stuff happens." She laughed indulgently.
